WBTL has secured two new European programs with a global automotive OEM for the development and supply of Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) calipers.

The new programs add to WBTL’s growing presence in Europe and further expand its business in electronic braking technologies.

With years of experience in EPB development and mass production, WBTL has built capabilities covering product development, validation and series production. By the end of the first half of 2026, cumulative EPB caliper supply had reached approximately 38.45 million units, with WBTL maintaining the largest market share among Chinese-brand suppliers.

WBTL’s overseas EPB business has been growing since 2022, when the company secured an EPB program with an overseas automaker. The program entered mass production in 2024 and has remained in stable supply.

To support its growing European business, WBTL established an R&D center in Frankfurt, Germany, in 2025, strengthening local customer support and coordination with its R&D teams in China.

The company is also expanding its manufacturing footprint in the region. Its Morocco production base has completed facility planning, with braking products planned for future production to support the European market.

From products and projects to local R&D and manufacturing, WBTL is continuing to build its capabilities closer to customers around the world.
