WBTL has secured two additional mass-production programs for EMB (Electro Mechanical Brake) system, bringing the total number of EMB mass-production programs awarded to date to four. Combined lifetime sales from these programs are expected to exceed US$300 million. The programs cover multiple vehicle platforms, including hybrid SUVs, EV SUVs and EV sedans.

Built on a purely electromechanical architecture, WBTL EMB enables fast electronic control, with a target response time of ≤100 ms and independent control of all four wheels. The system can also work in coordination with regenerative braking to support smoother braking performance and more efficient energy recovery. By eliminating traditional hydraulic brake lines, EMB offers greater flexibility in vehicle packaging and creates new possibilities for lightweight and highly integrated chassis design.

With four mass-production programs now secured, WBTL is moving EMB beyond technology validation and toward broader vehicle applications and scalable production. WBTL EMB system has also received ASIL D functional safety certification from TÜV NORD, providing a strong foundation for its application in series-production vehicles.
